4 Seasons Tree

Good Morning Crafters

Today I'm sharing a card using the Woodware Old Oak Tree stamp, it's definitely one of my favourites from this release.

I have stamped the tree in Sepia Archival Ink and heat embossed it.  I used the following Distress Oxides to create the backgrounds;

Spring - Lucky Clover, Peacock Feathers, Twisted Citron
Summer - Cracked Pistachio, Fired Brick, Abandoned Coral
Autumn - Wild Honey, Seedless Preserves, Spiced Marmalade
Winter - Iced Spruce, Salty Ocean, Broken China

For the foilage I have used one of the smaller stamps from the set and the following Memento Inks;
Morocco, Peanut Brittle, Northern Pine, Olive Green, Pistachio and Love Letter.

The snow is Chunky White Enamel Embossing Frantage.

Reuse, Recycle #4 - Mixed Media Seaside Frame

Good Morning Crafters

My piece today was inspired by a few of the images I had left over from the waterfall sheets by Craft Creations.  My recycle/reuse element is a piece of fine grit sandpaper.

The greyboard frame is covered with Craft Creations 12 x 12 On The Beach scrapbook paper.  I have added stenciling using structure paste and Sand Starlight paint through Artistic Flair Texture Tabs and Grungy Compass stencils.

The background is created with sandpaper and rice paper.  To the sandpaper I have added Sand Starlight paint through the Artistic Flair crackled stencil.  I added Vintage Photo distress ink around the images before adhering them to the sandpaper.

The shells are made using Hearty paperclay and Katy Sue Designs Shells mould and coloured with Brown Wink of Stella pen and Sweet Poppy Strawberry Sorbet Shimmer & Sheen Metallic Lustre Paint.

Waterfall Trio

Good Morning Crafters

This morning I am sharing 3 waterfall cards using the new mechanisms and image and sentiment sheets from Craft Creations Ltd. It's been a while since I made a waterfall card but these pre-cut mechanisms make it really quick and easy.

Other products I have used include the non-shed glitter card, Hunkydory Wild at Heart cardstock and a background made with Distress Oxides.

There is also a workshop next month making these and other kinetic cards with Rushanne.

Best Wishes CAS card

Good Morning Crafters

Today I would like to share a CAS (clean and simple) card.

I have used the franking stamp from the Postage Frame stamp set and Memento Ink in Elderberry, Love Letter, Morocco, Peanut Brittle, Pistachio and Teal Zeal.  The small marks are the corner of the smudge stamp in the same set and the Best Wishes is from the Toadstool Clump stamp set.

Quick and simple card made in about 20 minutes and great for batch making too just change the sentiment to match any occasion.

Until next week Keep on Crafting!

Winter Tree

Good Morning Crafters

I've been making a few messy backgrounds using the Kuretake Clean Colour Real Brush Pens and I have used one of those backgrounds for this card. My colours of choice were Cobalt Blue 031, Persain Blue 032 and Cornflour Blue 032 - these blues make me think of clear, bright Winter days.

I have used the Old Oak Tree stamp and the sentiment is from the Three Toadstools.  The 'snow' on the tree is a white pen

I have recycled a piece of cardboard packaging (you can see my previous post on recycling here) and painted it with gesso.  To add texture I mixed structure paste with Mediterranean Sky Starlight paint.  Whilst this was still wet I sprinkled on silver glitter and microbeads.

I rubbed a small amount of the Starlight paint around the image and sentiment to give an icy sparkle.
