Mixed Media cards class with Margaret Brackenbury

Good Morning Crafters!

As promised, today I am sharing the two mixed media cards I made at the class with Margaret on Saturday morning.  There are classes/workshops on most Saturdays which can be booked online or over the phone 01284 701101, or demo days - no need to book just turn up.  Next Saturday's class is Stamping for Beginners and when this post went live there were still a couple of places left.  Demand for this class last time was high, so if you're yet to start stamping or are unsure where to begin and get the best results be sure to book your place as soon as possible.

My first card uses the Imagination Crafts Butterfly background cardstock, Butterfly Love stencil, Dark Orchid Alchemy Wax and Structure Paste.  The technique taught by Margaret was a nudge technique which is how the drop shadow is created.

I used the Imagination Crafts Live, Love, Laugh mini stencil for my greeting inside the card and one of my favourite Alchemy Wax colours, Peridot

For my next card I used Imagination Crafts Patterned Cardstock, Arch of Flowers stencil, Folk Butterfly stencil, Black Alchemy Wax, Dark Orchid Alchemy Wax and Lapis Blue Sparkle Medium

Keep on Crafting!
