Simply Stenciling

Good Morning Crafters

Today's share is a purely self-indulgent piece and shows what you can do with only a few stencils and inks.  I had long coveted the Wheat stencil and finally got round to buying it but so far I haven't created wheat with it once, always Lavender, and today's piece is no different!  With purple being my favourite colour, I love lavender plants, the smell is wonderful and the bees and butterflies seem to love it just as much as me.

I have used smooth white card stock, Imaginations Crafts Wheat, Cages and Spring Birds stencils with Antique Linen, Mustard Seed, Dried Marigold, Weathered Wood, Bundled Sage, Seedless Preserve and Black Soot Distress Inks.

I thought about cutting this piece down and turning it into a card but in the end if felt more like a journal page.  I added the quote using Zig Pure Black 08 Millenium Pen (I am still in the throws I practicing quirky writing styles) and adhered it to a page in my random pieces scrapbook.

Just a final heads up that the offer on the Distress Oxides ends this weekend.

Keep on Crafting.
