Musical Tag

Good Morning Crafters

To follow-on from my masculine card, today I have a masculine tag to share, although of course it could be used for any gender.

The tag is greyboard which I coated with a thin layer of gesso just to stop the colour from being soaked up by the board and needing a thicker coat - why waste beautiful paint. I have used PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Chalk Acrylics paint in Caribbean Sea (Opaque).

Using the Woodware The Waistcoat stamp set I stamped the waistcoat in Jet Black Archival Ink on to Imagination Crafts Rice Paper No. 169.  Your Press to Impress comes in hand for this as it means you can position the stamp exactly where you want it on the rice paper and know it's going to hit the target area.

I adhered it with Multi Medium Gloss, you could use the Matt finish but the gloss is the only one I have right now.  I dabbed it with some Imagination Crafts Agean Starlight Paint. The SnipArt musical notes are also coloured with the Agean and adhered with the Multi Medium.  I then spritz it with Shake and Gilt Liquid Gilt (you will need a box do spray into), added Black Enamel Accents to the buttons and finished it with cord from my stash.

See you next week, until then Keep on Crafting.
