I'm starting off today with a reminder of some of the upcoming workshops and demo days. Firstly, if you are in the area tomorrow between 10.30am and 3.30pm do pop in to see Dot Clarke as she demos the latest Sweet Poppy Stencils and their new shimmer and sheen paint.
We also have spaces on the Press to Impress Stamping workshop with Rushanne Young on the 4th November. The Press to Impress tool makes sure you get perfectly stamped images everytime. If you haven't used this tool then I recommend booking a place on the workshop as you won't be disappointed.
On the 11th November Margaret Brackenbury will be holding a Mystery Mixed Media workshop using a wooden house shadow box to create a surprise project for you to take home. You will learn all the skills necessary to adapt the project for different occasions and themes.
In our workshop on the 25th November we will teach you have to make decorative plaques using wood discs as we craft with natural materials and move into new territory.
Hunkydory's Wild at Heart and Woodland Wonder Collection arrives in the shop today. Mandy says This turly is the best imagery I have ever seen Hunkdory bring out..." and I must say I'm inclined to agree. My personal picks will be The Little Book Of Wild at Heart and Woodland Wonder and the Wild and Wonderful Card Block.
I'm a fan of the Little Books as they are perfect for working with stash you already have and with so many pages it's possible to make 144 cards. Team this with the card block, and you only need tape and scissors to start batch making, or dig out your long neglected dies and embellishments and produce a wildlife mixed media piece or you could scrapbook those photos and memories form a zoo or safari trip.
Keep on Crafting.
